Shipping Rates

All shipping rates are calculated automatically at the checkout. This is calculated according to the destination and approximate weight of the parcel. If you would like to know the cost of shipping before you buy all you have to do is take your items of choice through to the checkout. You will need to log in because the destination of the parcel is required. The shipping rate options will be displayed before you. Once you have seen the shipping costs and methods of service you will be given the choice of either cancelling the order or making the purchase. If you prefer to save your order to complete at a later date rather than making a purchase or cancelling it you can use the saved cart facility. If you choose to place an order a confirmation email will be automatically sent to you. A second confirmation email will be sent to you on despatch of your order.

UK Classic Parts Ltd aims to ship your order within 24 hours on a 5 working day per week basis excluding public holidays. This will be adhered to most of the time but is not a guarantee as during extra busy times and extremes of workload it could take longer.


Returns and Cancelled Orders

It is our intention that you are entirely happy with your purchase. UK Classic Parts Ltd will give a refund for unwanted goods excluding carriage on items returned to us within seven days of delivery subject to the following conditions:

The goods are not damaged or soiled in any way and returned in the condition and packaging they were sold in.

The goods have not been fitted or changed in any way. 

All shipping costs relating to returned products are the purchaser’s responsibility and are to be borne by the purchaser. 

Please note that the above also applies to orders returned to us because the shipping service has been unable to deliver.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make sure that they have chosen the correct product(s) for their purpose before ordering. UK Classic Parts Ltd are available for advice concerning suitability of a particular product before purchasing but it is up to the purchaser to take responsibility for ordering the correct product before placing an order. UK Classic Parts Ltd cannot be held responsible if a customer has ordered incorrect products for their purpose.

 

Shortage of goods, incorrect or damaged goods must be advised within 48 hours of delivery.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT OPERATE FROM A SHOP PREMISES. IT IS THEREFORE NOT POSSIBLE TO COLLECT ITEMS IN PERSON. If there is a problem with your order please contact us either by phone or email. 


Shipping Methods

Below are the shipping options which will be offered at the checkout according to the weight and destination of the order. Please note that different services offer a range of transit times such as Royal Mail 24 Recorded 1-2 days and Courier 24-48 hours. These times are the duration the particular service aim to achieve. They will be adhered to in the majority of circumstances but are not a guarantee and can vary according to destination and the level of service.

 

UK Mainland

Royal Mail 48: This is our cheapest service and it is ideal for small parcels because of its low cost. Royal Mail states delivery aim 2 days. This is not a tracked system.

Royal Mail 24 Recorded: Royal Mail states delivery aim 1 day. This is not a tracked system but is signed for on delivery. 

Please note that deliveries will not be left at a premises in the absence of a recipient. If no one is available to sign for the delivery the postman will leave a card giving instructions to the recipient.

Courier: This is a fully tracked system. Please note that couriers do not deliver on a Saturday in which case it may be better to choose Royal Mail 24 Recorded instead.

UK Islands and Scottish Highlands

This includes Channel Islands, Nothern Ireland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands.

Royal Mail 48: This is our cheapest service and it is ideal for small parcels because of its low cost. Delivery will be 1-2 days longer than UK mainland. This is not a tracked system.

Royal Mail 24 Recorded: Delivery will be 1-2 days longer than UK mainland. This is not a tracked system but is signed for on delivery.

Please note that deliveries will not be left at a premises in the absence of a recipient. If no one is available to sign for the delivery the postman will leave a card giving instructions for the recipient.

Europe

International Standard: This is our cheapest international service and it is ideal for small single items because of its low cost. It is very rare that an item becomes lost but please note that there is no compensation  for loss or damage. If you require compensation for loss or damage you must choose either the International Tracked or International Signed For services. Royal Mail states delivery aim 3-5 working days. Please note that some more remote and distant destinations will take longer. No tracking. Weight limit 2000 grams.

International Tracked and International Tracked and signed, these are Airmail services: Fast and fully tracked service to some countries that choose to operate the systems. The system that your country operates will be offered to you at the check-out when placing an order. Royal Mail states delivery aim 2-4 days. This is not a guarantee and will vary from country to country. Please note that some more remote and distant destinations will take longer. Online tracking. Weight limit 2000 grams.

International Signed, this is an Airmail service: This service is offered for those countries that choose to operate the systems. The system that your country operates will be offered to you at the check-out when placing an order. Signature required on delivery. Royal Mail states delivery aim 3-5 working days depending on destination. This is not a guarantee and will vary from country to country. Please note that some more remote and distant destinations will take longer. Tracking is only available to the point of departure from the UK. Weight limit 2000 grams. There is compensation for loss or damage.

International Courier: This is a fully tracked system. Delivery is normally 3-4 days depending on destination. Compensation for loss or damage.

Worldwide
